On a recent crisp and cool Fall day, I decided to visit the graves of my beloved father and maternal grandparents. I knew their stones would most likely be covered with wet leaves, so I grabbed some paper towels and a mild cleaner and headed out to give their stones a little cleaning. A super nice and very friendly gentleman approached me and my daughter during our visit. Samuel Domsky, the General Manager, introduced himself and we chatted a bit about my family and their Philadelphia history. Shocking he never heard of my father....everyone knew and loved him, but that's another story! He genuinely showed an interest and also recommended to only use water on the stone. We grabbed some water bottles I had in my car and he even helped with our mission, using his own little broom he retrieved from his car to help sweep the leaves off of the surfaces. We noticed there was a crack in the granite on my grandmother's stone and Sam assured me he would take care of it. 12 days later...he texted me a photo of the newly repaired granite! I am grateful for the fast turnaround and I know my grandmother is smiling now:)
