WARNING...Spotlight resorts is a SCAM!!! Do not use this company. They do nothing to resell your timeshare. They just charge you a fee and provide no services. I am in the process of reporting them to the BBB and California Consumer affairs. They will have their business license revoked in no time with the scam they are pulling.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I wanted to rent my timeshare and they promised the world. Lanie, the rep said they would be in contact with me monthly to keep informed on the status. This was August 2016. I have called numerous times and have received one call back. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!
Customer BEWARE! This companies main goal is to deceive it's clients by leading them with false hope that (Sportlight) will be able to sell or rent their time share. We were first contacted by Steve charged us 500.00 to sell our timeshare. He assured us that within 6-9 months they would have our timeshare sold. He also told us that he would be in contact with us at least once a month to give details. As the months went on "NO CALL", or sale. We were also deceived by (Vanessa), into paying spotlight an additional 400.00 dollars to rent our timeshare and were told that we would make anywhere from 1,000-1,2000. Vanessa lured us by saying she had at least two people lined up to rent and it would only be a matter of weeks when they would book the rental. She also said she would keep us informed on the status but also avoided our calls and never called us to give us update. We soon talked with Lainey, who claimed to be the owner and discussed our issue with Steve and Vanessa. She went on by saying They (Spotlight) never promised anything and that they were extremely busy with clients and could not be calling clients (us) back on these type of issues. Lainey, also soon avoided our calls and only seem to argue her companies side. She never showed any understanding or professionalism toward us ( So called; Client). I hope who ever reads this post would show a lot more caution and discernment then us when thinking about pouring 1,000 into a company that builds it's foundation on robbing and misleading its clients.
They promise the world, "We specialize in selling timeshares, there should be no problem selling your property in 6 to 9 months". Well it's been two and a half years, and now they won't even return your phone call. An absolute scam. I am working on filing complaints with the BBB, the California attorney general, and since they do this across state lines, the Feds.
Decided not to go with them after seeing they were pushy to get the payment to start... looked then up and sure enough Horrible with BBB and the reviews on Google. Haven't heard of 1 rental or sale made...
I wish I could give them a zero. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! They called once a week promising everything under the sun until they got paid.. now they won't return calls. They misled us with what to do TWO YEARS AGO and now our time share was foreclosed. Lainey advised us poorly and now we are out over 20,000. As a mother of 3 young children we needed that profit, that company robbed us blind. ***Total scam***
I am disappointed in the way my Grandview Las Vegas timeshare hasn't sold or rented, but not always any fault of an individual or company. It is easy to find myself wanting to blame Spotlight but, the timeshare business is what it is. Good for those who use it and not good for those who are stuck in it and can't use it. Needing to wait and see what happens in 2016 and 2015 was a no go at this point.
