Haircut by Shantel was adequate. However, after deciding to try out this business when my regular hair stylist became ill, I arrived for my first appointment (the first appointment of the day) to find time had been double booked. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and came back. But, at my third appointment (again, the first appointment of the day), I arrived and found again that appointment was double booked. I was expected to wait while other customer had her hair colored. I declined to do so and won’t be returning. I was not called and warned about double booking in either instance but was simply expected to hang out while the other customer was given preference. I can only think Shantel (who owns this business) has so many customers that she doesn’t care if some are inconvenienced on a regular basis. I cannot recommend this business. I read and considered the response to my review by the owner who is Shantel. The facts she stated are not accurate. The business opens at 10 so I did not arrive until 10. Shantel was not there when I arrived. She came in after my arrival so she was not “15 minutes” early. Both I and the other customer were already inside the shop when she came in. It is also disingenuous to imply that these “crazy times” had anything to do with the situation. She obviously double booked and hadn’t the courtesy to inform the customer who was not as important (me) of the situation ahead of time. I wish her response indicated she regretted her actions but, unfortunately, it does not. I’m still unable to recommend this business.
