What a beautiful place. Time just stands still as you relax in the hot tub. Great fun and a real sense of achievement maintain the stove fire and cooking on it. We got the butchers hamper added and it was perfect with more than enough for our two night stay. Pork with creamy bacon and cabbage one night and chicken with haggis neeps and tatties the second. Plus breakfast and a few snacks. Upstairs gets super hot but cools down very fast if you open the window. Met Jane when we arrived she explained everything and is just a text away for any follow up questions. Highly recommend this place

We stayed at the barley bothy for two nights to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Wow what a place! Perfect rural location with amazing views as well as a lovely bothy where the owner has thought of everything you could need for your stay. We even arrived to fresh homemade bread (which easily rivals any fancy bakery we have ever been to!) and tasty homemade jam. The combination of the accommodation the views the hot tub and the sunshine made it a a holiday to remember. We even had a visit from the friendliest collie dog I have ever met, think she may have been the Bothy owners but she was so gentle and happy I wish she came by more often! We will definitely be back and cannot recommend the place enough

Stayed here with my girlfriend for my birthday and we were amazed at what a charming place it was. Beautifully decorated and well laid out, loved the wood burning stove and hot tub, and having homemeade bread and jam on arrival was a lovely touch. Will definitely return.

Comfortable bed, quirky, well-equipped cosy bothy, private hot tub! Super love tending the fire -- as this automatically warms the stove, we had an endless supply of hot tea as well. Jane is a superb host!

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend at The Sheep Shed. Stunning views and so peaceful. Quirky accommodation and so cosy with the lovely range. Friendly owner Jane was there to help us settle in and explains how to use everything. Deffo be back asap !
