Absolutely wonderful service. My son and I showed up after close and the server Pauline had actually stayed until her guests were done. Offered us take out and offered us one of the best restaurant experiences, that I will definitely remember. Thanks Pauline!!

What a wonderful little place! Loved the 50's table and chairs and all the old signage. I was pleasantly surprised to see other patrons wear their masks while sitting tables and only removing them once coffee or food arrived. That made me feel comfortable. Unlike other places I have visited since restrictions have lessened, Wimpy's tables were well spaced out. Each table had its own hand sanitizer. These things all made me feel good going there. Best of all was our lovely server Pauline and the young lady who seated us. Thanks girls for a lovely breakfast and making us feel safe and welcome.
My family and I really enjoy having dinner at this location. Pauline our server is absolutely incredible! She always has time to spend with our little girl even when shes been run off her feet with other customers. My opinion is without her they wouldn't be successful. Thank u Pauline for being so good to my little family.
A lovely little restaurant with family feel. We went to this restaurant for breakfast and dinner before and after a day hike at Algonquin Park. The breakfast was so delicious especially the Breakfast Poutine. The portions were huge, we didn’t feel hungry even after four hours hiking. We went back to have our dinner after hiking. The penne pasta and onion rings were the best! Our waitress Pauline was super friendly and made us feel like at home. We will definitely go back again when we go north for hiking.
My family and I are staying in town for the weekend and we were looking to get some breakfast for us. We came across wimpys diner and the food, setting and service was fantastic. Many thanks to our fantastic server Pauline (I hope im spelling that right) Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great place to grab breakfast
