Fagus Educational Resources is proud to announce its newly launched educational resource designed to monitor and support emotional and social progress in school-age children. It enables teachers to better understand complex behaviours in children with emotional and attachment issues and provides step by step support to teachers and pupils to help positive change happen. The Fagus toolkit consists of 13 printed developmental guides, each one relating to a social and emotional domain, and supporting online tools including developmental checklists, profiles and goal attainment records. Fagus was originally created for pupils with attachment and developmental trauma related difficulties (often these are children from adoptive families) at Beech Lodge School (www.beechlodgeschool.co.uk). Therefore Fagus is an excellent use of the Pupil Premium Plus funding. Fagus is fully endorsed by a team of academics from the psychology department at Royal Holloway College, University of London and it has had very positive reviews by schools and organisations that are now using it.
