Nice hotel in the old gymnasium. The beds where ok. The breakfast buffet limited and people didn't respect social distancing and use of desinfektion. The spa was very great

Hotel. Genieber Hotel Altes Gymnasium Pros Lovely hotel rooms very clean and tidy. Good off street parking Nice swimming pool area. Nice sauna area. Good breakfast. Staff nice and friendly. But they don't speak any English. Cons Poo stains on the robe we were given when we spoke to reception they changed the robe but not so much as a sorry No massage available. Fully booked said we should have booked in advance. They should list this on their website as we went in off peek season. Whirlpool not working. Steam bath not working in the morning. They seemed to try and fix it but was still not very good. Wifi in rooms not working. Night 1. 3 course meal not bad for the price. Needed some flavour and meet was dry. Can only choose main dish and only 2 dishes available. Night 2. 3 course meal a litte better tonight. But food still needed salt and pepper that you have to ask for as they don't have it on the table. I give the food at max a 3 out of 5.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a few days on a business trip. The facilities are well beyond what you would normally expect at this price point. This is easily favourite hotel in husum.

A somewhat worn out place. Both the swimming pool area and the garden wing where we lived breathe the charm of the mid 1990s.
