Ordered a pallet of amber 500ml bottles online. Got a call from lady saying that the online price quoted was incorrect and the pallet size was also smaller. Had to pay extra and receive fewer bottles. Then politely decided to speak to the managing director Gavin just to advise him of what was happening, so that he can fix the problem on his side. I was basically told that my one pallet order was immaterial and that 95% of their business is not online business and that they get almost no online orders. Then talk changed to delivery problems at a residential area and he mentioned that the delivery driver is not obligated or insured to drop a pallet near my front door. Sounded like they didnt want my business. So just maybe call them before ordering online. You might find that prices are out of date due to new suppliers and so forth. For a massive business I felt like I was treated like I was worth nothing. No real apology. Just excuses. I know times are difficult but most of the larger businesses quote correct prices online at the very least because this is the start of any business model. Anyway. Awaiting my refund.
