Felt frowned upon because on disability’s and benefits, also because doctors suspect multiple sclerosis the optician lady said Oct machine not really worked but it doesn’t matter especially if doctors think multiple sclerosis, These machines pick up tumours and I wanted to see if it would pick my brain tumour up and my hole in my eye, my bad eye she said machine not worked how convenient but worked in good eye, had hearing test after but too upset so left, shouldn’t matter if have diagnosis of other symptoms my eye is hurting and losing vision and sever headaches and also can’t move it certain angles, it hurts daily with a cloak over my vision, also was told to pick glasses whilst dilating eye drops in my eyes settled, I felt as if rushed appointment and I’ve never chose glasses and for one could hardly see so who knows what glasses the guy assistant said chose them they will suit beetest,, wel will see next week when go to collect, and can’t go from excellent vision to need permanent glasses for everything, so arranged another Oct scan and second opinion elsewhere

They were not doing routine checkups when I booked, only eye tests if your prescription had changed. But they will ask you when you make your booking - makes sense because they were busy the several times I went. Take an umbrella because you might need to wait outside. Someone comes to the door and welcomes people in according to appointment time. One way system inside the shop and hand sanitizer as you enter and leave.

Staff are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Everything done nice and swiftly. Stock and prices are what spec savers offer. Actual store is pretty small I can see it being very cramped during peak times. Doesn’t bother me though as I never would go at those times.
