Chennai is famous for their tiffins ( Idli, Dosa among others) which I havent tried in my previous visits. This visit, have ensured to try their erode dosai which was super soft and went very well with their chutney and sambar. Their Idli was no less and I fell in love with their first bite. Ghee roast stood true to its name and was Crispy the way I like. Now that's pretty much I loved from this place. Let's look at what went wrong Mushroom chukka had too much ghee flavor in it cutting down actual flavors of it. Aatu Kal soup was bland. Andhra Chilly chicken in no way felt like one, not sure if its their version of it. Chicken leg piece was savior among and was juicy. Vanjaram Tawa fry was decent and I would have liked it if it had been more juicy inside. Kothu parota definitely needs a revisit as parota in it was very hard. Their chicken and mutton biryani tastes almost same which as usual was flavorful and ghee-licious ( don't even dare to compare it with our Hyderabadi version). In desserts, Payasam same had almost uncooked semiya in it which might be overlooked before they served. Carrot halwa as usual again was star in their dessert section. I'm in firm belief that the feedback we passed on to manager wil be passed on to their main branch and will get implemented as these branches do not have a free hand to do anything customized - even if customers asks for it - pretty weird huh? Right from masala to recipe, everything is predefined and you have to follow the same (basically any one can cook their food and a professional chef might not be required) - they have everything prepacked passed on from their main branch and even if the order is for 1 person, they need to cook that for a kg or the mentioned quantity. Keeping that aside, their service was very good and quick to serve. If not food, they will ensure you leave the place smiling

Name is intriguing. Typical south Indian cuisine restaurant. Ambience is decent and food is traditional. Served in banana leaf. Moderate prices with very moderate quantity is served à la carte. Buffet is quite a deal for non vegetarians with ample variety items like fish, chicken etc., Decent place for south Indian style food.

Dinner at Junior Kupanna. Delicious fare and medium spice. We had Vanjaram fry and chicken chukka for starters. Malabar parotta with prawns fry and bheja fry. Chittimutyalu biryani (hope I got that right) which comes with accompaniment of raita and an egg. Carrot halwa; pot kulfi and sheer khurma for dessert. Good fare.

If you are a fan of Kongu Nadu (north Tamil Nadu) then this place is a definite go. Awesome south Indian food . The biriyani uses seeraga samba rice which adds a fantastic flavour and very different to the Hyderabadi biriyani. Customers should known the non veg meal only has non veg gravy and does not contain pieces of meat Spacious ambience, ample seating and no waiting on a Sunday afternoon
