Used a Living Social voucher. Therapist was pleasant and chatty. The voucher description was for 25 min facial 25 min massage and a manicure. Both facial and massage together only lasted 30min but it was nice and relaxing. Manicure was more of a quick file and polish. I know they dont get much money out of the vouchers but if it's to encourage you to go back and pay full price I definitely wouldn't. So nice treatments just not what was described so disappointed.

This was my first visit to Halcyon Days but it definitely won’t be my last. I had a Swedish massage and a mini facial, during which I fell asleep!! I feel amazing now, thank you very much. See you again soon

I originally found this company as I was calling around town to find someone to take off my acrylic nails. At the time, I spoke to the receptionist who was very kind and informative and told me they don't remove acrylics but advised me of other local businesses that do. Because of this pleasant interaction I decided to book a massage and facial online as a new customer with Halycon Days totalling 70 (luckily pay on arrival). I got to the shop 10 minutes prior to my treatment and was greeted with a lady, assuming the owner, who assumed I was someone else for a completely different treatment. I explained who I was and that I have an appointment and she pulled a face at me and assured me I do not as she has got nothing on the system. I showed her my confirmation email and she blamed my booking on a company called Treatwell who I apparently booked through (unknowingly to me). She took my name and email in order to contact Treatwell to find out why this happened and offered to rebook me in. I was unhappy with the customer service as I felt that she was almost blaming me for making an online booking and was not very apologetic at all. No discount was offered for a future treatment for my inconvenience. Such a shame as it would have been nice to find a local business to visit regularly, will not be returning.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Joanne the owner is so rude and needs training in customer service! Have a look at other reviews and on groupon it shows just how bad Joanne is. I arranged on time at 3.15 to my appointment which was confirmed in TWO emails to be told my appointment was at 3.00 and they won’t see me as it’s my fault not theirs! No apology, and wasn’t offered another appointment or refund. I am now trying to get a refund through Groupon which Joanne the owner is making difficult although face to face yesterday she said she would contact her Groupon manager. So not only is she rude, a liar, she’s also a thief making money for a treatment that was never provided. Her salon must really be struggling!!

I had a groupon file and polish as I am looking for somewhere regular since moving locally. Beautiful salon. Unfortunately nails chipped within hours without doing anything to aggravate and no appt available to repair within the window of time they will do a repair.

Bought a Groupon voucher for beauty treatment only to find that I would get just a tiny piece of skin treated at each visit unless I paid extra. When I expressed my doubts to lady at Halcyon she showed poor customer service in my opinion. I concluded phone conversation saying I would ask Groupon for refund only to be told I wouldnt get a refund. Groupon say I can be refunded.

Having tattoo removed Joanne explained what would happen & after care,only had 3 done so far but can definitely see it is fading already,not as painful as I thought stings a little but numbing cream helps,Joanne makes you feel so relaxed & is so friendly treatment over in a few minutes,the room is beautifully clean & relaxing surrounding with soothing music & Joanne's reassurance asking me if I'm ok really helps,would definitely recommend thank you Joanne, further treatments booked.

Not the best customer service I've ever experienced, Joanne the owner was rude and dismissive. Would not recommend purely based on this. As they have written underneath, no I did not attend the facility as I was unhappy with the customer service before I even went there. Would you like to start an argument with me on here as well? I can always upload some screenshots.
