I really enjoy my weekly shop at Waitrose...at the moment the only day a week I go out..and the shelves always stocked...neat and tidy...and such nice polite and helpful staff.
Was always a 5-star for me. Relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience. However due to store layout it is the only supermarket in the area where you have to queue still. But still worth the wait in the queue to buy some good products. it is also one of the safer stores staff wearing face coverings and literally every customer too. A suggestion for the management and head office get 2 staff in your lovely new cafe that is closed now like a store room open it again and allow customers to purchase takeaway coffees when they have finished shopping collect it from the counter and go out the doors that open to the outside so there is a safe steady conveyor belt of customers we should be allowed to purchase a coffee as takeaways are allowed from cafes etc you are losing a lot of revenue by denying the customers this enjoyment of a nice coffee from your good machines after we have done our shopping. A security officer could stand there and make sure there was no no disruption for other shop is coming and going from the store in a very orderly manner they could purchase there takeaway coffee. Much needed in this cold weather please Mr Manager.
Gorgeous produce as you would expect from Waitrose. A great selection of Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free Options with a small in store Bakery and option to Self Service Checkout. Staff practiced Social Distancing and were very helpful and friendly. Overall good experience.
