Decided to leave a review ,great shop always friendly . Lovely couple of guys helped me choose a the perfect card for my daughter .we need to support these independent shops .They always have those special items i like to give .
I have been quite a regular visitor to Wow in Hythe as we walk along the High Street. It is nice to see there are still independent businesses going strong in the High Street that is chocked with charity shops and hairdressers. John and his staff always make us feel welcome whether we buy anything or just browse. Covid has been a pain for all businesses and being asked to wear a mask and use the sanitiser is part of the Government's advice not some spurious idea from shopkeepers. If you don't want to use the sanitiser or are allergic, open your mouth and say so, and bring your own? Not rocket science.
Can’t say I was very impressed when I arrived at the shop to be confronted by a lady behind the till asking me to use the hand sanitiser provided. Hand sanitiser contains alcohol in it and can cause skin irritation and I have had a bad reaction to it (not that I should have to explain this) but because I couldn’t use the hand sanitiser, the lady behind the till asked me if I used gloves instead! I think this was taking it a bit too far quite frankly. Hand sanitiser is not compulsory, it is optional for customers to use if they want to and nowhere does it say you have to wear gloves if you’re not going to use the hand sanitiser. It's a shame cos I bought some nice things from this shop last summer when I visited Hythe but can’t say I was very impressed about being asked to use gloves and decided to walk straight back out.
Excellent service. First class and unusual gifts.
Really nice shop for presents etc. We bought lots.
