Due to the price a reasonable place to stay for a few days. Do however bring mosquito repellent ( I forgot and got bitten) and a eyecover for sleeping (which I gladly had one in my stuff). The curtains are 10 cm smaller on each side and they are of thin white cotton. Not the best for keeping the light out. Than again, you have to get out early for the breakfast (between 8-9)...

This hostel needs a training on how to be courteous to its customers and not treat them like garbage... I stayed here during Cologne carnival and it was probably one of my worst experiences ever. The owner of the hostel is an extremely rude woman who refused to give us water when we asked for it because according to her it was ''after the breakfast time'' and also asked us to clean our tables after eating breakfast :/ At the time of check out she sent us back to out rooms to collect garbage from the trash cans and to throw it outside and also asked us to clean the rooms. Seems to me like the owner wants all her customers to do her job for her and doesn't grasp the fact that we PAY her for her services and not the other way around. If you do plan to stay here then do clarify with the owners about strange rules of the house.
Old, dirty, bad location, bad breakfast. I don't recommend this place at all.

Das war unmöglich! Die Besitzer einfach nur unfreundlich und immer am meckern! Das Haus war dreckig und es stank in vielen Räumen! Aus jeder Mücke wurde von den Besitzern ein Elefant gemacht! Außerdem ging um 3:00 Uhr nachts fälschlicherweise der Feueralarm! Nie wieder!
Der Preis ist genauso wie die Qualität: niedrig. : Der Preis ist gering und es gibt Anschlussmöglichkeiten mit dem Bus direkt neben der Herberge, so dass man ziemlich schnell in die Innenstadt kommt. -: Auf den Zimmern gibt es kein Badezimmer und die Wände sind teils beschädigt. Abgesehen von Betten, einem Waschbecken, einer Mülltonne und Fenstern ist nichts im Raum. Die Türen quietschen und das Personal ist größtenteils unfreundlich. Das Wasser beim Frühstück, welches Leitungswasser ist, schmeckt sehr ungewöhnlich. Alles in einem Jugendherberge, welche man nur besuchen sollte, wenn man nur günstig übernachten will und den Rest des Tages in die Innenstadt (oder zu anderen Orten) fahren möchte.
Personal ist äußerst unfreundlich! Es wird immer hinterher gerannt und irgendwas geschimpft. Das Licht darf nicht zu viel eingeschaltet werde - Es gibt direkt Tadel. Das Gebäude an sich ist heruntergekommen. Zuletzt renoviert wahrscheinlich vor 40 Jahren. Die Toiletten stinken grundsätzlich.das riecht man alles im Flur.
