I visited ILOVEFOOD around 2 weeks ago, and was particularly impressed with the realistic ethics, theories and morals that underpins the produce that is seen in the shop. It is a lovely shop, with healthy fruit and veg and a large array of other products that you would struggle to find in many other shops. It is worth supporting this shop as it is efficiently addressing many of the problems the human population now faces. They are very knowledgeable and happy to discuss their produce with customers- worth a chat if you want to know more.
Loved this service. Great people, perfect customer service and, of course, beautiful, local, organic food. Well worth the investment, once you go organic; it's really hard to go back. A note: If you are getting a mixed fruit and veg box on a regular basis, you should love to cook, and be adventurous in the kitchen. Cook and store proactively, or stuff will go to waste! Edit: 3 years ago, this was a great service, but things have come on and I love food isn't really keeping up. The quality still stands, but you can't order any extra veg or fruit, so if you need a certain amount for a recipe or something, you need to look elsewhere. Also, about 60% of the time, the order is delivered by Glovo, which really isn't appropriate for an open box of rolly veg, and it means we can't give the boxes back. Finally, it took a good few emails and a call recently to get them to pay attention to a not-unreasonable request, which was annoying. I want to love them, but there are just too many holes!
I love food was a place for me almost on top of the mountain not to far away from Lesseps where I use to live. I was looking for Oregano to make pesto but find other fresh veggies like strawberry, banans, ginger and fennel also the pasta! Is a nice space and cool location for a eco store really cool and now after meeting the owner and DelEric who has product there it I feel even more welcoming :) great!
He hecho dos pedidos de una caja pequeña de fruta y verdura y la verdad es que está genial. El producto es muy bueno, siempre hay mucha variedad y es genial La única pega que le veo es que la última vez me trajeron el pedido vía Glovo. Considero que las personas que consumimos este tipo de productos (de proximidad, intentando apoyar el comercio local y al agricultor de manera más directa) no solemos apoyar a este tipo de plataformas donde normalmente las condiciones de los trabajadores no suelen ser las mejores... Por lo demás, ninguna pega!! Recomiendo mucho el producto.
