A well-managed private museum features satsuma art pieces. The garden is very beautiful and good for photos. Highly recommend to book guided tour (30mins) in advance. There’s no buses from Ibushiki station so you have to either visit by car or taxi.

Nice museum with reasonable English information. The thing which lets it down is the expensive 1500 yen entrance fee.

Worth a visit at least once in Ibusuki. National treasure class ceramics and other artistic materials are at display. Fee is a little expensive, nevertheless if you haven’t seen the arts of the museum, you’ll miss them later.
I really enjoy the overall atmosphere, people , hospitality & good food there .
