Very cool place. The tour guide was very informative. She knew all the answers to everything in that place! Great history

The tour was interesting. Lots of artifacts and history to observe. Erin, our guide was knowledgeable and cheerful. My only complaint was the tour did seem a bit rushed. And you don't get to go very far into the mine because it's closed off by a bulkhead after a couple hundred feet. Its nice to do if you're staying in the area.

My Sister and brother in law lived in Idaho springs. From 1979-99. I came on leave from the army or stopped by driving Simi Truck for Marten transport. Thought I would share some old photos of the mill here

This Gold Mill was wonderful. We took a guided tour of the facility and was the only ones so we had a private tour. Our tour guide, Zach, was great! He knew so much about the mill and made our whole stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place!

The tour was awesome! But then again I love history so I’m biased... I went with my daughters ages 5 and 11 and they didn’t complain during or at the end so I’ll take it as they liked it too! Zach our guide was super informative and even had a few jokes... at then end we “panned for gold” but the amount of gold you get isn’t even worth all the work not expecting to strike it rich or anything but you end up with a piece of gold the size of a spec of glitter lol but all in all great tour
