A very thought provoking experience with a museum full of genuine artifacts collected from the battlefields and local historians. There is a graveyard over the road which also adds gravity to the tragic loss suffered by many who fought and died there. Please make sure you sign the register in the graveyard and leave a comment as this helps towards the upkeep and preservation. There is a nice little cafe also situated at the museum.

There’s something very pure and simple about this place – it presents a snapshot of World War I history in a very raw and basic way, without fuss, but it’s still hard hitting. You’ll come away with an insight into life on the frontline as well as the futility of the conflict as both sides fought devastating battles over mere metres of advance. Remember to take some coins with you – the entry fee is a few euros each in the honesty box as you go in.

Well worth a visit most interesting and very good value for money. And you can call into the cafe / bar for a drink and a snack also good value for money. The owners and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The service is very good. I will definitely be back

Perfect deal. For 11 you get the museumsoft drinkhuge sandwich. The museum is old school (no computer crap) filled to the throat with relics from WW1. In addiyion, the place is filled with private collection level rare exhibits that I have never seen in quality or quantity in any WW1 war museum this far.
