It was a very moving experience. There are more unknown burried here than known which really hit home. I recommend anyone but especially Canadians to go visit it.

A battlefield cemetery in every sense of the word. This area was part of the front lines and changed hands many times from 1914/18- trench mortars, shelling, flame-throwers, poison gas and bitter hand to hand fighting with bayonet and clubs would all have taken place here.
Well worth the stop. Be sure explore the entire cemetery.
Just down from the Museum, don't miss it.
Le nombre de cimetières militaires dans la région est affolant. Celui-ci n'est pas une exception les 1700 tombes, il n'y a que 600 soldats identifiés. Cela donne une idée de l'horreur de la guerre de position. Les lignes étaient bombardées en permanence et les corps déchiquetés.
Un lugar diferente, dónde puedes casi sentir como vivían ese terrible conflicto que fue la primera guerra mundial. El museo muy interesante, las imágenes qué puedes ver en el son ilustrativas.
