We live locally and have only just discovered this delightful little eaterie in the lovely village of Combe Martin. The menu is uncomplicated with just a handful of simple home-cooked offerings at very reasonable prices. I hate to use the word cheap but this place is a bargain. The owners have run the place for 40 years and it’s lovely to see the place adorned with their family photos. It’s like going to Nana’s house for tea. Great value, and wonderful service from people who clearly pride themselves in their business. Highly recommend eating here and we will definitely be back.

We went here for lunch at the end of May. A lovely elderly couple run it. We were made to feel VERY welcome and given personal service. The cafe is small & set out like a tearoom. The food was delicious. We have it noted for future visits. Sadly it is not on TripAdvisor because it does not meet one of their criteria for entry (possibly seasonal opening?). Do not let this put you off. It is a real gem of an eatery & deserves patronage, especially if you're not into impersonal venues.

They only do instant coffee,which is disappointing in this day and age.The place smelt damp.the owners are cute old couple ,so we couldn't walk out as we felt we may be helping there income.so that's the only reason we didn't walk out as the smell hit us .
