Lovely place to go on a rainy day if your looking to play board games. The staff were lovely and very welcoming they recommend games to play and will sit with you and show you how to play any you have not played before. So so friendly can't recommend enough will definitely be going back again when we are back this way .

Great people really friendly and helpful. Around 600 games so something for everyone. Food cooked fresh and home baked cakes.
Great service, and knowledgeable staff. Really helpful in choosing a game for me and the kids to play.
We spent a very happy afternoon here playing new games and drinking tea. The owners were lovely and incredibly helpful. Would definitely return!
Fabulous day spent gaming! When the weather got rough on our camping trip we were delighted to find this little jewel! For such a little cafe, there's a fantastic range of games and the staff are very educated and delightfully friendly. Our 8yo had a blast playing loads of games with the owners whilst we tackled some bigger legacy games . Our daughter LOVED the hot chocolate with all the works and their little tubs of mixed snacks are genius! We were so delighted they allowed dogs also. Even if gaming isn't your thing, worth a visit just for the cakes anyway!!
I've been to a number of board game shops and cafes over the last few years and not one has come close to the complete friendliness, passion for games and cosiness of Dice and a Slice. It was pretty busy when we turned up, but they managed to squeeze us in. I got the impression that if you weren't too fussy, they would always manage to find space for you. We played 4 hours of board games, with hands on instruction (Carol beat me at least once), and we had a whole pizza, and chocolate, a jug of squash, two diet cokes and a cappuccino. For 10.40. Insanity. They even refused to accept a tip, giving us a free game instead! I'm still a bit overwhelmed by just how amazing my evening just was. Looking for a place to hang out, to eat some food, to play some games, to get introduced to RPG and make some friends? Check out Dice And A Slice the only board game cafe in North Devon... and probably the best one in the UK.
Brilliant. Spend several hours here playing games, drinking coffee and eating cake. Lovely friendly owners, huge selection of games. Really recommend it.
