We visited Ilfracombe in August 2019 and this place was a Godsend. Good food and beer at great prices. Friendly welcoming landlord and staff. They even got some Ting (c) in so we could have the legendary TingWray* cocktail. A good range of beers and sport on TV too for when it’s raining outside. Dog friendly beer garden - unlike the Wetherspoons around the corner. *Wray & Nephew over-proof rum poured over ice and served with Ting and a slice of lime - give it a try!

It serves good beer with great service. Not doing food at moment but for s drink excellent. Having spent a week here we have tried most of the bars in Ilfracombe and 4 of us have decided that this is the best one.

A rare gem in Ilfracombe! The decor in this restaurant is excellent and the food did not disappoint! Easily the best meal we had during our stay - there are so many good options to choose from in the menu - but of particular highlight is the signature breakfast. We also had the chicken wings and dirty fries with pulled pork. All were delicious!

Dropped in for a quick drink passing by, very well decorated inside, friendly welcome which is so much lacking in this day and age. Good beer and pleasant gardens. Didn't try the food but what we saw coming out looked great

Lovely bar, excellent customer service. Perfect location for a walk around the seafront. Perfect beer garden for a sunny day.
