I’ve been going the for all my life. And there were no problems with the store. I really recommend the multivitamin fruit juice and the ice cream. It’s also very conveniently located for me.(it’s a short walk from my grandparents shop.) The only thing I have a problem with is that I live in a different country and I go there for the holidays.

We were staying locally for Easter week and decided to top up on supplies on the way back to base from the harbour. The shop was busy and we were amazed at the seemingly low prices of the produce and duly stocked up our pully basket. However once we had waited 10 minutes at the checkout, we were shocked to find the prices charged were considerably higher than the amazing prices we had seen when walking around the store. Some of the items were adjusted by the cashier without question when challenged..but others were not. I get the feeling they chance the placement of price tickets to misrepresent item prices in the hope that customers will be too rushed at the checkout and too distracted at the speed of the cashiers processing the items, to be able to identify the higher prices. We were charged 1.39 for what we thought was labelled at 35pence See picture below

Ilfracombe Lidl has been marvelous all the 5 years I've been using it on nearly a daily basis. The staff are always friendly and helpful and their selfless service during the Covid pandemic has been outstanding. The products are cheap and fantastic value given their excellent quality. I can't ask for more and Adm always disappointed by other supermarkets when I use them. Keep up this sterling work!

Ok Lidl, not a very big centre aisle with only a small stock choice. Bread section sells out early. Nice staff and efficient check out operation.
