Very impressed with the implementation of the safety guidance measures relating to Covid-19 and the adherence of the entire Airport staff. A very clean look too. Sad and kind of eerie experience, deserted check in counters, jet bridges, closed stores.

The airport was, as you would expect, very quiet given the problems created by the virus. Check in was the usual.. quick and efficient... security was as usual. EVERYONE was wearing a mask and following social distancing. We were flying Vueling and they made us check in cabin baggage. Having now done this and watched the boarding and disembarking, I'm not at all convinced by this. I don't believe that it adds anything to speed, safety or efficiency. The passengers were exemplary and all stayed seated after we landed and simply waited until the row in front was leaving before they got up. A lesson for the future??

Menorca Airport (MAH), Carretera de Sant Climent, s/n SP-07712, Illes Balears, Spain, is located less than 3 miles to the south-west of the capital city of Mahon. It first became operational at its present location in March-1969, as direct replacement for the nearby San Luis Aerodrome. Menorca Airport (MAH) is quite small, by International standards, but it has been extended significantly over the years and presently has 16 passenger gates. We've only made the one trip via Menorca Airport (MAH) in Sep-2016 and found it to be a well organised and customer friendly operation, both on arrival and departure.

It looks a bit like bus station in the middle of nowhere, but very friendly stuff, makes everyting easy and fast.
