If you want fresh fish, this is the place for you. Fresh catch is available as early as 3 PM although it is still better to go there in the evening when there is a wider array of fish to choose from. What's best is that there are stalls that will cook your fresh fish right there and then so you and your loved ones can enjoy a freshly cooked meal within the port, itself.

If you like the seafood, but don't mind the sea smell, this is the place for you. It's a good place for family dinner. Trucks come in full of a wide range of fresh and cheap seafood. You can go right in and buy whatever you want and have it cooked in one of the food stalls. Easy to get to by car or public transport, and opens 365 days a year from 8 P.M. There's a 40 pesos entrance, but parking is free. A toilet facility is available, but needs proper maintenance. In my opinion, the whole complex needs a total redevelopment and odor management to bring more people in.
Very good place to shop fresh, and reasonably priced seafoods! Plus, there are shops across the area where they cook your "seafood catch"..
It's never been the same since this pandemic hits iloilo. The fishing port before was one of the busiest and full of life places in iloilo where in you can buy fresh fish ang go to the restaurants across the road inside the complex and ask them to cook it for you may it be sinabawan, sinigang or grilled or all of the above. I hope and pray that someday when this pandemic ends this is one of the things I would really love to see again
The stars depend on the time of the day. Several stalls (numbered) across the road can cook and the fresh fish & seafood you buy. Busy place. Be ready to use your hands when eating. No alcoholic beverages sold or allowed, which is very good.
You guys go there first around 8:00 p.m. There opens from 8:00-12:00p.m. And you can buy very fresh seefood like a fish, shell, squid, and shrimp,.etc. And you can bring it to opposite part of the market building, there are many stools in a line. And every stool cook your ingredients into very nice dishes! Very cheap. If you stay in Iloilo, you should try it. You might have a good time in fish port.
