Good value overall. Have visited twice in the past two years and it hasn’t changed. Clean rooms. Third floor toilets were kinda dated, especially since they are unisex (multiple stalls). There is little to do nearby, but the inn tries to make up for this by having beer, tea, and cup noodles available for purchase. Laundry works fine and the bath/shower rooms are nice. Overall a good stopping point for cyclists, especially since it’s near the route and well-marked (as long as you can read Japanese!)

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and the food excellent. The portions are very generous! I would recommend to anyone cycling the Shimanami Kaido to stay here, it is at about the halfway point and the surrounding area is very beautiful.
Lovely hosts. Great views from rooms overlooking the beach. Great dinner with plenty to feed a hungry cyclist.
The Ryokan was very comfortable and the baths was exactly what was needed after a long ride on the bicycle road. The Ryokan was also near the bicycle road so that was very convenient. The owners were also incredibly kind and helpful.
Nice staff. Great location. Awesome food and decent facilities. A bit expensive, but it fit right into my schedule with it's location, and also including dinner & breakfast. I do recommend it.
Nice place located on Shimanami, perfect for people who are stopping overnight while completing the Shimanami cycle route. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bath was great, it was warm and relaxing. This ryokan is a good value for money. Only negative I had was that the wifi was quite weak in our room, so we had to hang around on the outside area to use it.
建物も部屋も昭和な感じです。 私が泊まった部屋は和室のユニットバスで 浴衣、タオル、歯ブラシ、ドライヤー、冷蔵庫、ポット、テレビ、冷暖房器付き、シャンプー、リンス、ボディーソープ有り 魚尽の夕食は、魚好きには最高だと思います。 お刺身の鮮度は、かなり良かったです！ 私には量が多すぎ残してしまいましたが… お刺身だけでも3人前ぐらい、魚の丸揚げ、煮付け、焼き魚1匹ずつ出てきました。 そこに汁物、ご飯も ただ、これだけ料理が出て本当に安い！ ちなみにビール大瓶600円！これも安い！
ツール・ド・しまなみ海道に、参加の為 せっかく行くなら食事メインで 美味しい魚料理が食べたい！と 言う事で 伯方島にある旅館に宿泊。料理は、食べきれないくらい沢山 ただし 階段が多いし、トイレは和式 バリアフリーは、無に等しい。建物の造りも、古いので 障害がある方には、お勧めしません。 ツール・ド・しまなみ海道は、高速道路は 通行禁止になるので、ツール・ドに参加する方は、今治市内をお勧めします。 コストを安く 今治を満喫したい人に お勧めします
