Not very busy during the week. Watched the Panda one. Haven't been to an IMAX in years, you forget just how big it is!

Pleasantly surprised both by the prices and quality of seats. The seats are actually comfy leather recliners. I've never been in a more comfortable theater. In fact, the only downside to going to a movie at this theater is that you could easily find yourself falling asleep. With home theaters getting better and better, IMAX theaters are given a run for their money. This IMAX theater, on the other hand, is well worth the extra money and drive. Give it a shot at least once. You might be surprised. Highly recommend.
Charmingly old school. Sticky floors, no-fuss seats and a big ass screen. Delightful museum announcements round out the quirkiness. An establishment with local character.
This IMAX Theater is located adjacent to the Maritime Aquarium. It has one of the largest screens I have ever seen. It was giving me vertigo. The screen is an exaggeration to say the least. I think if it was a bit smaller it would be much more pleasant. I have no photos to show because we were not allowed to photograph.
The largest IMAX theater in Connecticut! it's humongous and one of the largest I've ever seen. They also have film projection, so it's the classic IMAX experience. The only downside is they don't show Hollywood movies here very often, it's usually those typical aquarium/museum specials of underwater sea animals and whatnot. Those are actually enjoyable to watch because of the screen, but it would be great if they offered more regular movies.
Had a great time. Good seating for wheelchair. Nice clean theater. Helpful staff. I will definitely return.
Just good family fun. If you go during the day on a weekday, expect a lot of kids on field trips.
Theater is part of the Stamford aquarium. They present documentary type films that are highly interesting and filled with spectacular scenes.
