I lived with USQ my Freshman and Junior year. I was impressed with the team they have to respond to issues quickly, the variety of housing and locations, and the deal I got on my housing. The office was able to work with me when I needed anything. Highly recommend!

Called with the concern of maintenance people entering my daughters apartment without notice. Was yelled at by Sally who would not let me speak or explain my concerns of this problem. Sally was very unprofessional and rude to talk about what their policies were for maintenance being completed and them coming into the apartment. The maintenance man had walked in the apartment (unannounced) when my daughters roommate was in the shower. Was also told that the students are very lazy and all they do is sleep all day. Funny how they have to be up for classes and or work, but they sleep all day. Is this continues the cops will be called. I would recommend NEVER renting from this company or apartment building. There are much better places to stay for a better price and the people are respectable.

Do NOT rent from University Square. I rented from two other businesses before and never had to deal with such rude and sneaky people. I called about getting my security deposit back and they told me even before looking at my apartment that I will not get it back because they have to pay for all the apartments to get the carpets professionally cleaned. All the other places I stayed at during my time at IUP, i always received my full or partial deposit back. University Square decided BEFORE even checking my apartment that it’s impossible to get my deposit back. I totally would understand if they checked it out and the carpets were stained, was not cleaned, and stuff was damaged, but that’s not the case. I even have a carpet scrubber, but apparently that is not good enough. It is funny how they never mention this before signing the lease. I always made sure the places I stayed at were clean before moving out and understood why if lost some of my deposit for small damages. I also rented a parking spot for a semester for 200 and they called a week into starting back at school and said they do not have enough spots for everyone so some may have to move to guest parking down the street. They over sold parking spots and instead of offering to give some their money back, they made us move our cars down the road and across the highway. The “new”parking spots were not even remotely close to the building. Please find somewhere else. I lived at Philly Square and rented from a private person and it was nothing like this experience. I would find somewhere else if you are thinking of renting from university square.

For the past two years our daughter has dealt with Sally and her team. She has always been professional, kind and responsive to our needs. Even today she was there when I needed to speak with her about Gabby moving out next week. Thank you Sally and have a great summer!

I've had a good experience so far, especially compared to other rental places in the area. The office workers are great people, and issues you may have are fixed in a timely manner and the apartments are well equipped. It's a little pricey, but for the location compared to campus it's kinda hard to beat (U-Square tower location). The mail system is a slight inconvenience, having to go into the office during the open hours the to pick it up, but it's understandable system. Parking lot location isnt very convenient, but it beats on campus parking prices.
