I was not feeling hungry at all this morning after a big breakfast at home. My weekend didn’t start as well as I expected, so decided to to talk a walk around LIC and I found this great cafe!! (Sorry for this background personal story lol) i ordered my fava drink (latte) and egg sandwich. You know what guys, they drove me crazy!!!!!! The latte has an outstanding flavor leave you a very smooth and mellow texture once it lands at your palate. The Egg Sandwich is remarkable, the sandwich is sooo crispy, if anyone can make an egg sandwich as great as this IS Indie LIC!! Like no questions asked ;) last but not least, the staffs are super friendly. Will be back again and again!

Imagine discovering a little gem of an eatery for the first time during Covid quarantine! What a pleasant surprise. ! Indie LIC is the other location aside from Lincoln Center. This Queen’s spot seems more suited to the sandwich and salad menu. Since most menus are take out now it’ s well suited . The sandwiches are delicious: my repeat favor is the roast chicken . The soups are rotated daily and though I haven’t tried one yet all seem homemade yummy! The most memorable touch are the breads used in the sandwiches. Very selective : the wheat whole grain tastes fresh baked and I BET IT IS ! Don’t wait until Covid clears head over toot sweet at least for indie take out !!!
I went to Indie LIC during restaurant week. The spicy sweet potatoes were a bit salty, but fine besides that. The avocado sandwich was good, though it was a bit smaller than I expected (made from sandwich bread). Chips, cookie, and a choice of drink were good as well. However, they charged me a 10% covid recovery fee for my pick up order. This is only allowed to be charged for in person orders, so I was not pleased to see that
Lovely interior design. Bright & airy. I loved the vegan “yogi bowl”. Table service only starts for dinner, so before 5pm just order at the counter.
Excellent Match Latte. Awesome sandwiches. The Sopressata panini is delicious
Coffee is great, and their homemade chocolate sea salt cookie is average. (Better than some bakeries tbh!)
We always get a salad and sandwich and it never disappoints. Service was friendly and fast. Everything was extremely aesthetic - from their marble finished tables, high ceiling, big windows and those cute little flowers placed at every table.
Their soup of the day, egg sandwiches, and cookies are excellent. One of the most satisfying breakfast/lunch spots in Court Square.
