If you are fond of south Indian food ,and you miss the authentic south Indian taste,and feel real taste of south is not available in city like Indore. Then your search ends at spice route. I think it is one of the best or rather say the best south Indian food with real taste then I am not exaggerating. Freshly prepared chutney's,inviting aroma of choicest spices with correct mix and wise selection of dishes are awesome. Place is not very big but hygienic food served with homely atmosphere will definitely unforgettable. Owner a woman entrepreneur SAPANA Nair from south Indian family is very fond of cooking ,started with a small home kitchen then started this restaurant which is really appreciable . Ambience is simple but inviting and taste of dishes are unforgettable. Variety of more than 15 crispy dosas, 5 types of colourful and tasty idlies add no.of spongy uttapams , special mini meals,combos,full south Indian thali and so on.....list is long ,served with tangy tingling chutney garnished with tadaka of curry leaves and jeera , Sambhar,rasam,with papadam, list is endless and taste is .....awesome. So don't forget to visit once then sure you will visit again and again....

This is a great restaurant for south indian food. The staff is very helpful and nice. The owner of the restaurant personally attended to us. The restaurant is indeed fabulous. The ambience, the seating arrangements, the quality of food served, the service. All are excellent. The variety of food available is indeed incredible. Totally, it was a fantastic experience to dine here.
