Founder, CEO Eurochampignon Mushrooms Stefaan Lapierre took up residence in 1994 in Ingelmunster as mushroom grower and established there a brand new mushroom growing facility after the passing of his father Raphaȅl Lapierre, who was the founder of several mushroom facilities in Belgium, who taught him the expertise and finesse of the growing process, for which many thanks. As a family business for generations we are proud, within the mushroom processing industry, to be able to provide a quality product and a sound customer service. Eurochampignon was founded in 2004 as a parent company of our own mushroom facilities. These are located in different places in West and East Flanders. Our own crop offers more assurance to fulfill the demand from our customers as well in quantity as in quality. We provide as much as possible transportation to our customers by our own means. This assures us that our product is being shipped at 3° C. To be able to provide “premium quality“ it is imperative not to interrupt the cold chain. Flexibility and delivery performance are our assets, as well as our continuous striving for top grade quality. As management of Eurochampignon we engage ourselves into provide all the resources available to achieve and to maintain this quality. The latter is valid as well for infrastructure, equipment and competent employees. To us, quality is not a split but a shared responsibility! Thanks to an active participation of our employees, we keep striving for a continuous “quality improvement”.
