A very good experience lovely atmosphere very good landlord and landlady if I lived there this would be my local as it had the best feel to it of all the pubs in the town, mostly locals in it which for me as a solo visitor created a relaxing atmosphere.

Friendly service, good beer and food plus enjoyable music. The only real pub we have found around here rather than overpriced gastro dumps.
Nice pub to visit love all the random sofas and chairs in the bar area, if you can get by the big cosy open fire even better. Cosy and very friendly.
