Lovely place, lovely staff. Really nice outdoor seating area with nice countryside views. Toilets are spotless. I had a pint of San Miguel which was ice cold and delicious. Definitely going back to try their food and contemplating spending the weekend with a room.

Had an evening meal for a birthday celebration. Table clean and good access for mobility impaired people. Menue a specials were limited but can understand why at this current time. Service was ok however they did seem to be under resourced. Food was tasty although the portion on some meals did not seem that great in value. I had the hunters chicken and it was a very small bird! It also came with small chips. My other family members chips were nice and chunky. Maybe they had just run out. Generally I'd say this is a nice place for a meal with good settings and also accommodation. Things are tough at moment and you have to allow for a bit of change.
Mid-price menu. Plenty of tables inside and out. Easy enough to get a parking space after driving up a super-steep slope. Best not try the descent if you drive a Lamborghini. I don't but I still heard a slight scuff as I reached the road. Had steak and ale pie. Excellent and accompanied by wide choice of potato styles.
A beautiful setting with delicious food and quick service. We had an excellent Sunday lunch here booked at fairly short notice. The staff were helpful and they seemed to be coping well with COVID-19 restrictions. Would definitely recommend.
Great location, friendly staff, great food
