I remember this happening last year and I paid without due diligence. Now I just received 2 Final Collections notices and wisely got with my insurance company. I discovered Innovative Pathology Services is trying to collect their discounted fees they had negotiated with my insurance provider. With one phone call to IPS to contest this they gave me a zero balance and said I could ignore their \collections notices.\ This is a bad business practice. We are reporting this to our insurance company and we are alerting my doctors. Shame on Innovative Pathology Services.

Innovative pathology recently delayed billing for over 1 year for a standard test (one that was performed multiple times, without issue previously) . This last test is billed at over 10-times the prior costs and vastly in excess of what insurance has allowed and paid for before. I tried resolving through multiple options but a new billing agency is in place. I cannot get a live person at Innovative Pathology. This had to be resolved through the primary doctors office who ordered the test.

A bill I supposedly had from here was sent to collections. I had no knowledge whatsoever of the bill (I don’t think I even had labs sent to here, since the procedure I had was sent to another lab and I paid for that one...) until I got a notification from Credit Karma about an amount owed to collections. I have never received any mail, email, or any phone calls from this company. How am I supposed to pay a bill if I don’t even know about it??

I would avoid this lab at all costs. I received a bill, paid it immediately, and later found out they had handed it over to collections and reported this as diliquent to all the credit bureaus. I have spent a week dealing with different billing companies only to hear that they don't have access to 2019 records. Find another lab...you don't want this aggravation.

I have received no bills or calls about owing a bill from a service that was 10 months ago. All of the sudden I have a collections ping on my credit and had to investigate. half of their contact information isn't correct and I'm quite frustrated.
