The original plan was to go snowboarding over Christmas but the lack of snow made that not feasible. We caught a bus from the Markthalle area which went directly to the resort. We had the Innsbruck pass so the bus and the single ride up came with it. The views off the bus were really nice but the view looking onto the mountain was not. There was no snow. We headed up the lift and past the first station to the top. The snow at the top was beautiful and powdery. Not many of the lifts were open so we didn't hire any gear or get a pass. It would have been nice to try but the effort wasn't worth it. The views up top were also quite nice and the snow was really good. It also started snowing which was nice as we weren't riding. We had a bit of a snack at the restaurant at the top before heading down. I would definitely be keen on coming back once there is snow to ride the resort.

Not a cheap ride, but the hikes at the top are definitely worth it. We didn’t have a lot of time, so we did the hike around the top of the mountain to the middle station. Would definitely recommend it. The small restaurants (alms) are great and very cozy. Would like to come back and do the hike from one cable station to the other next time.

Fantastic views of Innsbruck. Nice walk up to the the top, 8km walk to the other cable car down, and then the bus (every 30 mins) back to the parking.

We dint go till the summit.. But enjoyed our bus ride till summit station. You take daily pass of bus n go till the cable car station. The scenery is wonderful n we got down in igls n Lans village.. It was very scenic

extremly expensive. not a lot of nice walking trails. view on top is great. short easy walk from top station to middle station.
