Great place for good hearty food. Worth a visit and not far off the A96. Polite and friendly service. Reasonably priced. Shop next door worth a visit too.

On our way to Aberdeen we stumbled upon this nice BBQ place, off the main road (A96). There are no road signs, and you have to know about this place in order to enjoy it. The food is 100% BBQ style, taken right from the South of the US (ribs, pulled pork and others). Drinks and all (nice variety of Bourbons) make the experience a very good and authentic one. And they even sell Hershey's (not a big fan but it was a nice surprise seeing it there).

Lovely staff and interesting tasty food! My favourites are the chicken burger with extra crispy bacon. It's their own smoked and carved bacon which is seriously good. I also really enjoy the smoked pork belly with crispy crackling. Wish they would get the Rock Town bourbon back in stock as it's a craft whiskey which matches this craft eatery very well. Always five stars here.

Just what I've been missing in the areas. Amazing fall off the bone bbq ribs. Can't wait to sample more next time.

5 star burgers and barbecue food For somewhere so far out of Aberdeen, expectations were high. Choose to meet for a birthday meal, so quite a large party. Welcoming entrance (although watch out for the potholes in the car park), Christmas fireplace with extra decorations at this time of year, facilities were clean but basic, tables did not "wobble", a pet hate, staff polite and genuinely friendly. Drinks arrived quickly and as ordered, food was cooked to order and arrived hot and as ordered, as we had a few fussy eaters (dietary requirements) this was no mean feat. Staff were observant and offered drinks when required, condiments etc. Not the busiest foodie business on a Sunday, and the drive back on unfamiliar roads in darkness is always a fun trip! But I would recommend you visit. I'll definitely be back too.

As always, great food and lovely, friendly service. The special dessert, skillet cookies was just amazing!
