Excellent country pub with a great selection of beer and food. If your in the area you should check it out as they sometimes have bands on too. Beer garden is great on a sunny day dog friendly too.
I went to New Moon for lunch on Saturday for the first time. The service was excellent and the food first class. We were a group of eleven ladies and all very much enjoyed our afternoon. The standard of the meals, both the cooking and presentation was impressive.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch in New Moon today. Food and service were very good, would really recommend. I have only given 4 stars, as they didn't do decaf coffee. (Very strange in this day and age). Very disappointed that I couldn't have coffee after the meal. I didn't get as far as asking if they had a milk alternative. If decaf was on the menu then we would definitely go back.

The New Moon has been tastefully redcorated and is now serving food at Lunchtime that I found very tasty - one of the best tasting Steak and Guinness pies I have had. Would like to see a real ale behind the bar and hope they start to do food in the evenings as well
