Would highly recommend. Service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and fun and so knowledgeable about the menu. The menu also has no shortage of gluten free options and tasty cocktails.

I googled “best restaurant in Del Mar”, this restaurant was at the top of the list and for very good reasons. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly accommodating to a man celebrating his birthday by himself. First restaurant I’ve ever been to that welcomed me with a birthday card.

Date night, happy hour, and first visit to International Smoke was scrumptious and full of flavor. We tasted just about everything on the happy hour menu- bao buns (9 for 2), brisket tacos (12 for 2), jalapeño Mac and cheese, fried brussel sprouts (6), Korean baby back ribs, and Tokyo hot chicken! Everything was extremely tasty and reasonably priced on the happy hour menu (3pm-5pm). This is, hands down the best way to explore various dishes for a fraction of the cost. Our server was friendly and made great recommendations for rib flavor and Brussel sprouts. We will definitely be back!

Yesterday I was hosting a business dinner with guests out of town. The service was golden, the food excellent and we ended up celebrating my birthday as a bonus. They provided me free desert but most importantly, the provided me a birthday card, personally signed from the restaurant. It's all about the details, which they got covered. I will be back.

Had the fuego tasting menu. Very delicious. Lots of spicy stuff in the first few plates. Make sure to pace yourself cause the last plate is the best.
