This was a fun shrine to walk to from the station. It was a very peaceful day. The area is near a campsite and has a couple cafes in the area. I liked the peaceful nature of the site.

Momotaro peach boy The momotaro folktale inspired statues are here and there in the shrine. Admission free. Daemons, the boy and his followers (dog, monkey and bird), old parents who raised up the boy. Some souvenir shops, eateries are there and a restaurant across the street beside the camp ground.

Took a bike and been amazed by place. Can’t believe I came to place where I only heard the stories from childhood.

This place is wonderful and refreshing. There is a camping ground just in front of it which is great for family and friend gatherings.

If you want to come and visit this shrine you need a car. Drive from Nagoya to hear is absolutely breathtaking. As far as shrine goes it's okay.
