Ordering through the window they still managed the BEST BROWNIES around during lockdown after my walk along the Caledonian Canal.

Excellent service. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Our dog made to feel welcome. Dog enjoyed his special menu: a 'pupcake' which was scoffed in seconds. Very much recommend.

Helen and I enjoyed a slow walk along the canal and stopped at the Jammy Piece for coffee and a scone. Its not fancy but nice and clean with a homely atmosphere. Enjoyed an Americano with a very tasty scone, butter and strawberry jam! Our friends enjoyed a mug of hot chocolate and bacon/sausage roll which went down well! Staff are friendly - altogether a pleasant stop before we set off back to our cars

Visited for the first time on the last day of “eat out to help out” and it was busy. Despite this the service was great cheerful helpful staff and the homemade food was sublime. We had the chillie baked potatoe which was really tasty. A nice cafe overlooking the canal with a lovely homely feel well worth a visit
