Amazing learning experience! Margaret is an amazing teacher with so much patience and dedication to making you feel comfortable in finding your own style. She knows the best locations and best times to visit them to capture stunning images. Her knowledge of getting the best out of your equipment no matter the level you are at is fantastic. She has so much insider knowledge of the islands, which makes your time there so much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Margaret for her retreats and one to one sessions.

Six days and two locations in the Scottish Highlands. Margaret was really supportive in the imaging process, and very patient. She is also a sublime photographer.

Margaret is a delightful, thoughtful and caring person who loves photography, swimming and surfing, although I don't know in what order!!! I thoroughly enjoyed her inaugural online Finding Your Voice workshop, exploring my photographic drivers and style. It was quite a revelation. I very much hope to meet Margaret in real life one day when this Covid madness is a thing of the past.

I attended a 6-day photo workshop in Cornwall in February 2020. I came from Frankfurt, Germany and did not regret it for a minute. Margaret is a dedicated teacher who loves what she does. Her photos and her way of working are inspiring. I had a wonderful time in stormy Cornwall with a nice group and a dedicated teacher. I look forward to the next workshop with her next year.

Thanks so much for a wonderful expedition. Lovely locations, some I knew a little, some entirely new. Friendly group of folk. Lodgings full of atmosphere, if leaving room for improvement on heating in the first and table service in the second. The snow added an extra touch of magic to our photos, while being considerate enough not to block any roads. But above all, the two tutors. You helped with technical details, showed beautiful pictures of your own, revealed happy and unhappy moments of your own life stories. And you gave us freedom: to create our own visual stories, to make mistakes, to feel triumphant and inadequate by turns. And not forgetting Margot, who did the cooking; like you, she has an unusual combination of deft efficiency and human warmth. Hope to work with you again before long. Vincent

I was a participant on one of Margaret's workshops earlier this year. From the outset it is obvious that Margaret is very passionate about teaching others, and is committed to ensuring that everyone reaches their full potential. The sheer amount of work and effort she puts in as someone else has commented is astounding! What I particularly appreciated was Margaret taking us through her own workflow and editing and being happy to share the images that haven't worked and explaining why. I think this is such a useful tool for learning and yet many workshop leaders seem to shy away from it. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be booking another workshop with her.

Margaret has created a unique and special style of photography retreat. Her passion to encourage her 'guests' to find their own style is inspiring, both photographically and personally. She has the ability and desire to help each participant work in their own way and in their own time - how she manages this in a group environment is quite incredible! The enthusiasm and sheer effort she puts in to each trip and each participant is humbling….

Had a great week on Seascapes photo workshop with Margaret in Cornwall. Lovely lady with great vision, who was keen to ensure each participant received maximum benefit from their week with her. I highly recommend her retreats to you.
