We had the most appalling experience yesterday in B & M. We are not frequent visitors to this branch but to say it is disorganised is an understatement. Every aisle we went down had enormous queues of people waiting to pay with only three checkouts open. Not only that every till had an issue with their customer, a lady want to buy a reduced purchase only to find it was only one curtain not two in the pack. A lady in our queue had a pack of bread rolls that wouldn't scan through the till. The young girl looked like she was about to burst into tears as the pressure on those shoulders was indeed extreme. She had no authority to overwrite her till without a supervisor and the supervisor was rushed off her feet trying to sort out the bread roll problem, the lady on another till trying to get a refund and the lady with the one curtain problem. It was chaos, all this whilst the ever mounting queues of people (I counted at least eight waiting in each aisle) glaring frustratingly at the situation they found themselves in. Several people abandoned trolleys and overall, it was carnage. Never to be repeated. This has well and truly put me off shopping here. This was not a pleasant experience and customer service was non-existent. Teach your till staff better, put more staff where they are needed and give the staff the support they need. It will make for a better service and happier customers.
Realy like B & M large store with loads of bargains. Loads of household items with low price's. Lots of choises to. Store always busy so good sign that people think likewise. Always stock up on bird seed and dog stuff as best price around .
Not to bad did have query at till as item I got priced different on the shelf not very good when on a budget???? It was 3.50 difference in price for the 1 item. Priced at 3.29 was 6.99 when got to till. Staff polite and helpful enough when questioned it!! Overall good shop and fairly busy!! Thanks.
