For an upmarket store after sales service is dire. Have spent quite a bit of money in the past at Glasswells but never had to raise an issue. However, I bought a recliner chair which took several months to arrive. A year later the headrest split. They arranged for someone to examine the fault and I was told the vinyl had been adversely affected by natural oils from the skin or hair. End of. I pointed out that the chair in that case was unfit for purpose, after all it is a recliner. I basically had to press them to see if they could order a replacement section, at my own cost. Again several months passed and I was told it was on order. Another several months passed and it was still on order. I finally gave up as the arm has now split. At roughly 400 it turned out to be not very good value for money for a years usage. In addition there was no warnings or care instructions that came with the chair indicating this could be an issue.

New bed just delivered. The service, from the first phone call to the delivery, was first class. And it arrived much sooner than the delivery times that i had anticipated. I am looking forward to the stores re-opening so that I can get a new sofa and chairs.

You guys have messed me about so much. I ordered wardrobe, chest of draws and 2 bedside tables costing near 800. Was told they would be delivered in 3 weeks. (15/8/20)Would have been perfect timing as this was days after moving into the new house. Got a phone call 4 weeks later to say they are delayed and will be another 2 weeks. Not a issue as I understand with how things at at the moment. It’s now 19/10/20 and I’m still without any bedroom furniture. After many phone calls no one cared and offered to help me out. Eventually I have spoken sense to one of the members of staff and having the wardrobe delivered in a few days. ( this will turn into weeks ) and the rest of my stuff will be delivered before Christmas. Only god knows if he meant this year or next! Basically what I’m saying is they are absolutely useless and couldn’t even run a bath. If the owner would like to call me and discuss, I will remove this review as I know it could ruin business.

Our first visit to this store and we were very impressed! Wonderful range of furniture and other products. Excellent toilet facilities and the service was fantastic, especially Danielle's! Although we didn't make a purchase we will most certainly return when we can.

Had a lovely lunch at Glasswells for our Wedding Anniversary. Thanks to all the staff for making it special. Highly recommend for food and a very pleasant experience

They have the worst hand sanitizer of any shop I've been in and considering they are a high end store i think this is important for them to change it, its like slime that you can't rub in, your hands are then wet so you can't touch anything. Collected a table and 6 chairs, 2 were damaged, apparently the staff checked them as the box was damaged but they obviously didn't check very well as both chairs in the damaged box were faulty. Thankfully they have good customer service who have arranged for 2 to be delivered but I have had to wait 2 weeks for this.

We recently shopped for carpets at Glasswells and received great customer service. The staff in-store were helpful and not at all pushy. A technician came to our home to measure up and quote - he was polite, punctual and thorough. We have been impressed with the service and, when lockdown has passed, hope to place an order to recarpet our home.

Good covid19 precautions in place, cafe open with screens, free parking right outside. Very hot inside though!
