I can't believe that Kate is still a childminder. Over 7 years ago she looked after my child. My child used to hate drop off and cried everytime for weeks with Kate complaining my child was over attached. My partner decided to arrive at unexpected pick up times to see if there was a concern. Once my child was strapped into a highchair crying hysterically while Kate yelled at my child for spilling food on the floor, another time my child was stood in the corner in silence watching her son and her eating their dinner ignoring him, another time her son was bullying my child while she watched on... the list was pretty horrendous in only a week of my partner arriving unexpectedly for collection. Needless to say before the week was even up we took our child out of her care and we put our child into a nursery. Our child stopped crying at drop off straight away... not over attached after all. My childs hysterical crying at drop off for all those weeks was just my child trying to tell me how awful Kate was. The guilt still sits with me for not seeing it earlier.
