I highly recommend Start Mediation. I didn't think mediation was for me but Stephen won me over. He skillfully levelled out the playing field whilst remaining scrupulously neutral. He has the knowledge and experience from previously being a Solicitor. He is also well connected with other high calibre professionals who could be invited in to assist or to refer people to. The mediation can take place via a video call. Ideal for lockdown, saves travel time and means Start Mediation is suitable for anyone, no matter where you live. Cheaper and less stressful than a Court battle....as long as both parties are willing to see it through.

The mediator that we chose to use was extremely thorough and highly helpful, even though my wife withdrew from the process I cannot recommend Start Mediation high enough. I would also say they are extremely understanding of my mental health situation and made all the necessary adjustments for me to feel safe. Stephen was an excellent mediator.
My meeting was with Stephen, a gentleman that has many years of legal and mediation experience I found his input invaluable and constructive bringing many ideas and different view points to the table. I little training on initial answering the phone….name!?, would give him 10/10 as opposed the very solid 9.5. I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the other party did not wish to mediate. However, although I was very nervous and anxious, the mediator made me feel at ease and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Start Mediation .

Having just spoke to a chap from this place and asking if they accepted legal aid for mediation so i could get my application back into the family court the guy had a sarcastic giggle to himself after i asked why and said because we do not want to, somewhat degrading feeling he gave me, changed his attitude after mentioning leaving a review even tried to ring me back, damage was already done, please take this into consideration before handing your money over im sure there are more respectful helpful and sympathetic places out there.
Start Mediation provide an excellent and reassuring service. They communicate swiftly and are clear about the next steps to take. They have a wide range of methods to discuss matters and provide confident and impartial advice.
