the tour costs 100 soles per day so you get what you pay for: uncomfy dirty facilities (there was not even water to flush the toilets), small portions of food and not so knowledgeable/organise guide. we did only half the activities we were suppose to.

Cheap but not recommendable. The facilities were dirty, the foods were always late more than 30minutes and they gave only small amount. You spend hours waiting something. The tours were similar during 3days. Even seeing the animals depends on luck(I coudn’t see anything but birds)

The nature was nice; how we were treated by the company really unfair and bad. We did a booking for one night, - at arrival others got their room and we got a space to sleep in a warehouse. - Vegetarian food was promised and asking for it the staff got mad. - we were excluded from some activities (for example the ride in the river at 5am) - back in iquitos the company was not able to collaborate What was it? Definaetly not the same price we paid as others.

I travel constantly to this place on the planet for my work as a wildlife explorer and decided to stay in a nice place to start my work and really the place is deplorable, totally neglected and dirty I do not recommend it.

I am use to roughing it and can easily be camping (tent)in the forest for weeks, but this place was disgusting. I would rather have a tent and sleeping bag on the dirt then sleep in those rooms again. The room smelt rotten and was filthy, the bed was stinky and the sheets were worn out and dirty. Mosquitoes net was like swiss cheese Thankfully the electricity would turn off a 9pm and then I would go to bed because I couldn't see the condition I was sleeping in. The food was served as if it was painful to put on my plate, literally one slice of cucumber or tomatoes at a time. I took a diarrhea pill as a precaution every night because they were washing dishes with river water, I noticed that the people that spoke Spanish were treated a bit better. We had a private guide (not from the lodge) with us and he was very knowledgeable. I would go to the Amazon again but would research to see owns the lodge and go with a European or American company and never with a Peruvian company. BEWARE!!

What a great few days! The guys picked me up at the very last minute, I was in a small group with 5 lovely Peruvians, 2 days (ish) & 1 night. I understand some Spanish, but the guides always tried to explain things in English as well. We made several trips up and down the Amazon, getting out and night and before the dawn. Plenty of birds and you got a glimpse of pink dolphins and a few piranhas. The animal rescue centre is a question mark as the poor anaconda gets locked in the toilet (not a part of Wimba tours, they simply take you there) and it does get a bit salesy in the end, but overall, it's a nice tour operator if you only have a few days and looking for a lodge.
