The company was established in 2002 with offices located in Iringa Municipality along Uhuru Road, Wilolesi hills at CWT Building. Radio Country FM went on air December 2004 on 88.5 FM Covering Iringa Municipality and its neighboring districts of Dodoma & Morogoro Regions and worldwide over the internet. The full programming started in January 2005 with entertainment programs covering about 90% of its air. In 2006 Radio Country FM started to offer listeners with various programs targeted to a wide market group such as youths, teenagers, adults and professionals. The station is on air 24 hours every day throughout the week. Geographically, it reaches some densely populated areas of the Iringa Region where about 1,600,000 people live. Comprising of a top-notch team of journalists, editors and presenters, the station main task is to provide its listeners with the information collected in a responsible, ethical and timely manner.
