I just had the best experience there with surgery on my arm that I broke a few weeks ago. Dr. Lukes who put in the plate and 7 screws did wonderful. Lisa my nurse in surgery was an angel and all the other nurses and the anesthesiologist who worked on me were wonderful, but I don't remember their names. My arm looks and feels great. I had to go there 4 times this year, twice to ER, once for a check up, and once for surgery and all 4 times have been great.

After 6 years of pain & agony with New Orleans Ortho Docs not wanting to operate even at age 52 & having many days of not being able to walk. My new northern Orthopedic Dr. Lukes immediately scheduled surgery. The entire staff has been exceptional in their care & kindness. From the Doctors to PT Staff & Nurses, I can’t say enough nor suggest having care fulfilled at Aspirus Hospital in Ironwood, MI. I highly recommend their services! Thanks

My boyfriend broke his hip while we were on a skiing trip up here, 5 hours from home, and he needed emergency surgery. We received excellent care here. The doctors, nurses, and the surgeon that perfomed the procedure were all excellent. They communicated with both of us the whole time, answered all of our questions before and after the procedure, and made a very scary experience feel manageable. They were so kind, and I will always be grateful. Well, don't come here if you are dying. Everything was fine up until I was diagnosed and had to wait 45 minutes to be discharged and receive medication. There was so many staff members on, either wandering the halls or sitting there glued to a screen. I had to request service to even leave. Then someone promptly showed up, so I could escape!
