I have been working with Jackie for almost 9 months now. I have worked with multiple personal trainers in my lifetime, and none bring the energy, experience, and knowhow that Jackie does to his craft. His workouts are exhausting, and he sends motivating messages throughout the week. We started before the holidays and I was able to hold my weight through the gluttonous holiday season, and then quickly started to change my shape in the new year. He is helping me build muscle and lean out, and I have received multiple compliments that I am looking healthier, thinner, and even my face looks thinner. He has been flexible with my busy schedule working at the hospital and has helped me achieve my goals. I am wearing clothes I have not fit into in years thanks to Jackie.

Jackie is more than a good trainer: He listens to your personal goals and helps you to achieve them in ways that push you towards consistency in the gym AND helping you to take responsibility for your own progress. If you stick with him and listen, and push yourself over time, you will get to a point of self-motivation that leads to breaking thru the mind-blocks that prevented you from your goals in the past. He doesn’t track your progress with detailed charts, because he knows exactly where you are in your progress — and if you stay with him over time, you start to learn how you can do the same for yourself without the need for fancy apps and metrics: It’s all about setting your goals, understanding your own body, pushing it so you can surprise yourself and achieve better results, and trusting what he teaches you. In the end, no trainer can get you in shape. Only you can. But a trainer like Jackie who is disciplined, is very fit and continues to train himself, patient with you, but psychologically present and encouraging is in my view the best type of trainer for busy individuals who are seeking to transform themselves over time to be the best Them they can be. Throw away your Instagram comparisons and gym apps; stick with the fundamentals and a trainer like Jackie, and believe in yourSelf with Jackie on your side... It should also go without saying, but the key to a knowledgeable trainer like Jackie working well alongside you is her/his integrity, as well. Another facet where he blows away his peers, in my experience. Thanks for all your gym training, teaching and support, Jackie!
