Playing November 2020 and great condition for time of year, great fair test of golf with some wicked sloping greens and some wee hidden bunkers. Absolutely loved the course and will definitely play again, great price at 55 a person

Played in October 20 in blustery conditions , greens and fairways truly outstanding . 5 star golfing experience that more than lived up to expectations . Would join this club in a heartbeat.
We played the Gailes Links on a terrible wet and blustery day in October, during a localised covid lockdown which meant no clubhouse facilities or bar/ catering. Despite this, the pro (Nick) was thoroughly welcoming and could not have been more helpful to our group. We were supplied with gratis range balls and all the info we needed to go on with. The course was very wet, having had a months worth of rain over about 72 hours, yet played remarkably well. The greens were very quick and rolled extremely well and true. The fairways were firm and we'll cared for and the tee boxes were all in excellent condition. Excusing the odd puddle on saturated lower points of ground, the course was in great condition! The layout is beautiful. No two holes seem too similar and the positioning of the bunkers is well thought out and not without reason. There are lots of very long par 4's, some of which played as long par 5's into a very stiff prevailing 3 club wind! I would thoroughly recommend Gailes Links to anybody planning a trip to Ayrshire, and am looking forward to visiting again in better weather!
Great service, from the welcoming to the drinks after the round. It's also a beautiful course. Would highly recommend.
